Active stations from SAIH del Guadalquivir integrated in EFAS in Feb. 2024

215 active stations from the Automated Hydrological Data System of the Guadalquivir River Basin (Spain) have been integrated in the data collection

In February 2024, the CEMS MDCC team integrated the meteorological station data from the Automated Hydrological Data System of the Guadalquivir River Basin Institution (SAIH_Guadalquivir) into their operational processing routines. SAIH_Guadalquivir provides precipitation data in hourly resolution. Data of 215 active meteorological stations are loaded into the CEMS MDCC database in the daily routine. The data are processed and included into the gridded precipitation fields produced every day as input for the EFAS forecasts as well as for EFFIS.

Information on how meteorological data are used in EFAS, and on data collection and transfer methods are available here.

CEMS MDCC would like to thank SAIH del Guadalquivir very much for providing their data and making them accessible via their WebService.
